• Insurance-request information, such as information about your vehicle, household, driving and insurance history, requested coverage, and other details you provide while seeking insurance options.

• Communications and preferences, including requests, consents, and communications with us.

We collect information directly from you, automatically through your use of the Site, and from service providers that help operate the Site.

How we use information

• process and evaluate your request for insurance information or quotes;
• transmit your request to a marketplace or other recipients that may evaluate it and, where permitted, present insurance-related options;
• communicate with you, including about your request and with your consent where required;
• measure advertising and Site performance, prevent fraud, and comply with law.

How we disclose information

We may disclose personal information to service providers that operate, secure, analyze, or support the Site; to insurance marketplaces and the recipients that receive or evaluate your request; to advertising and analytics providers; and to governmental authorities or other parties when required by law or needed to protect rights, safety, and security.

When you submit an insurance request, the recipients that receive it may use the information under their own privacy notices. We do not control their independent privacy practices. We do not disclose your personal information for another party’s direct-marketing use except as part of the insurance-request process you initiate or as otherwise disclosed to you and permitted by law.

Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted by law.

You may opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in the message. To opt out of marketing calls or texts from a recipient that contacted you, use the opt-out method provided by that recipient. Opting out of one recipient’s communications does not automatically opt you out of communications from other recipients.

Children’s privacy

The Site and insurance-request services are not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.
